new tax law (IRS Section
179 of the Jobs
& Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003)
was passed in 2003 to stimulate the economy. That makes
this year one of the best years in history to purchase
a charter yacht. As of 2004, IRS Section 179 makes it so
that it may be possible to deduct up to $102,000 of qualifying
equipment (your charter yacht) purchased for business
use in the year of acquisition. In other words, buy a yacht,
put it in Marina Sailing’s Yacht Management Program,
then use income tax savings and charter income to help pay
for your Dream Yacht! That combination can literally cut
the cost of your new boat in HALF!
Our dealers have only sweetened the deal by offering to
make your payments until 2006 if you buy a new boat from
